"Beam" Money With PayPal.com
Payment services such as PayPal.com allow you to beam payments over the
Internet, so you can send and receive money
securely, quickly and easily. To send money to a friend, simply go to PayPal.com and request that
funds be withdrawn from your credit card or bank account and sent to any
Email user in the U.S.A. or even internationally. Your friend
may then directly deposit the money to a bank account, or
request a personal check from PayPal.com.
If your friend is not yet a PayPal.com user, they can sign up with PayPal.com
to claim their money. Best of all, PayPal.com currently charges no
fee for this service.
There are some other similar services, such as
BillPoint.com.
But no payment service has attained the wide popularity of PayPal.com,
which eBay.com says is about 100 times more widely used than BillPoint.
PayPal does charge the recipient a 3% fee on the transaction, while
BillPoint charges a more variable fee.
