There are many ways to reduce your entertainment expenses:
- You can often get entertainment for free at libraries and
bookstores. Libraries let you check out videos as well as books, and
bookstores often have reading areas where you can read books and magazines.
Whether you actually buy anything is totally up to you.
- Making more friends is great for conversational entertainment, playing
games and other free & fun activities. You can also share entertainment
products, experiences and expenses with your friends. For example, you
can rent a video and split the cost with your friends.
- Expressing your own creativity is a great way to have fun. You could
take up painting, writing, crafts or any number of other outlets for your
natural creativity.
- You can always download interesting software for games, music,
photography and more from the ZDNet Software Library.

Stretcher. Every week, tips pour in to this excellent site from
its audience of about 100,000 readers. You'll find about 100 articles
